Has anyone used canned clams with any success for sheepshead?
I tried to use them once but they don’t stay on the hook too well. Kind of mushy. If you do use them, you might try wrapping them in a small piece of cheese cloth and putting that on the hook. You can also do this with oysters. Works best with a small treble hook, but the new circle hook requirement f###s up that plan.

I have used the baby clams for chum. Get more in a can that way
