Haven’t been able to get offshore this season to catch any Mahi. If anyone has some they would be interested in rehoming it for a fair shake my family would appreciate it. I wish I would have had the time or option to get offshore this year but it looks like my fishing days are numbered for the rest of the year. Hopefully next year wont be as hecktic.
Bilo in Tanner plantation , Hanahan, sells flash frozen steaks and whole filets with skin on, wild caught, (probably in Chile) but nice meat anyway. affordable too.
I bet you cant even tell the difference especially if you didnt catch them. We all know that fish we caught ourselves is the BEST tasting meat right?
Anyway, I would buy em, if I didnt have any in the freezer.
I would be willing to trademy mahi for some grouper or snapper though.
Good luck with your search.
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
Lights On!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of dust with a rod in one hand and a beer in the other,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming…
When I have an empty freezer jones, I hit the Teeter when they have it on sale, and ask the fishmonger to get me a side from the freezer in back. Flash-frozen on the boat, cryovac-ed, product of South America, and about 4 lbs on a typical side. As good as it gets if you didn’t catch it.
