Hoping that maybe I could get a little help in your area; I’ll be down from Cape Cod and am more than willing to trade some intel for striper, blues and bluefin fishing in our area if anyone can help me out.
My family will be down w/ the in-laws for the holiday and my son and I are on a mission to get his grandfather onto some fish, he’s had a streak of bad luck and we need to get the skunk off his boat.
His boat is on Daniel Island, I was thinking of poking around the creeks up the Cooper, or over on the Wando. I’m not familiar with what might be around this time of year, and was hoping for a little help in what tackle is best right now, as well as tides and time of day, and maybe some location tips(?). I’ve read through a lot of posts and it sounds like there is action this time of year.
By the way, I’m not the usual yank; I lived in Charleston in the early 90’s and my father is Citadel '64. Big thanks to anyone who can give some advice!
A yank is a yank, a dam yank is one that stayed here and will not leave. Trolling with grubs works well for trout, 1/4 oz lead head and a paddle tail grub. No telling what color will work that day. Live bait over oysters rakes for reds

Local Boy, Just having fun.
Lol. Nice! I’ll be sure to keep my head low while out on the water! We’ve got about 6 inches of snow on the ground and more coming, I’ll give up my yankee-card willingly anytime.
Just having fun, trout, reds and sheephead have been on fire. Metal flake and bright green grubs, pink and white and new penny if it rains and the water get dirty. Inland water way AND JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE IS BITING. Good luck
