Anyone ever fished these areas of the Gulf? I’m headed down there for a week in June. Any info would be appreciated.

Flyfished the past three years for the SILVER KING! Two hook ups and have not touched one yet. Wildest ride I have ever been on 2 years ago with a 120# muscle attached to a 12 wt rod. Going back in June.
Good restaurants and local brewery in Apalachiacola. I suggest the ale!!

I used to go down there twice a month when I lived in atlanta (moved here in 2009). The bay has lots of large grass flats, crystal clear water, and can be really shallow for miles. PM me for some info. It won’t be super helpful, but its better than nothing. It will give you a starting point.
2 years ago was there w/ wife and another couple and caught a good number of trout just floating over the grass flats in the bay. Unfortunately it was extremely windy when we were there so didn’t go out far w/ the wives. Fished the beach at Indian Pass and got a few trout and a lot of cats. Also went to St Vincent Sound and fished around the refuge and caught some smaller reds.
