got down to DI marina, to find that they forgot to put the bote in the water. We ended up leaving late, so with the weather report looking iffy, we decided to get a mess of pogies, and head to a close reef. After river dancing on the chum bag of pogies, we got a great slick going. we had baits at all levels in the column. The Cobia showed up as the storm broke the coast. He picked up a surface bait that was freelined, and after a long battle on a light rod , we boated a 46 lb Brownie. We also hooked up with a 10’ Hammerhead. Weather turned to crap, so we came in. Thanks Mike it was fun.
