Capers

I was curious as to the permit needed to stay on Capers. Do you have to pick it up in person or can it be faxed/emailed to you? I have never stayed there but would like to some time this spring. Any other tips on camping there? Would probably be 3-4 of us. Thanks in advance for any help

I picked mine up at the DNR office on James Island, but they can email it to you. Not sure about the winter, but when it’s warmer, the list fills up pretty quickly.

When I went camping back in October the dock had been washed away by the hurricane, so we anchored in the Southern inlet. Most of the driftwood is pretty water-logged, so if you want to have a fire, i’d bring some dry wood to get it started.

Alright thanks. Was planning around march so hopefully can get in before it fills up. Thanks!
