Please keep Capt. Bob in your prayers as he suffered a stroke a few days before Christmas and is still in the ICU at the Medical University of Georgia. I have spoken with Fran (wife) and he is to undergo surgery for a blockage in his carotid artery when he is physically able.
oh no, Will keep him in my prayers.

thank you for that O
Prayers to Bob and family. My favorite seminar ever was listening to him speak about fishing. The reason its my favorite was because his words spoke way more than that. Pure southern poetry about the things we all love. Give him our best, Ron & Dave.

Thanks for the update Dave, glad to hear he has shown improvement. Never met the man but he emailed me one day and offered to send me some of his trout tricks. I knew right then that he was a quality individual. I hope with prayer and time, he will fully recover and be back out slaying the fish.

You won’t meet a more genuine, southern gentleman than Bob. A true steward of all things wildlife, just like his Dad.

Went to high school with Bob - he is the real deal and a true lover of the SC outdoors. He is also a fighter and if anyone can overcome this, he can.

I add my best wishes for Capt. Bob’s speedy recovery to all the others posted here. He gave me some very useful fishing tips a couple of years ago prior to my first Edisto fishing trip. Get well quickly Capt. Bob!
Bob’s wife Fran said he’s progressing well and was going to start rehab yesterday.
Thanks for the update! Please tell her if we can do or send anything to cheer him to let us know.
