Carolina Boatyard.. Anyone familiar?

Anyone use CBY at 41 bridge? Is it just a dry, surface storage lot where you still have to put your boat in/pull it out yourself?

Anyone know their rates?

I’ve heard good things about Daniel Is Marina dry stack but that’s 10 miles away.

My other option is the use the storage and ramp in our neighborhood but I’ve not heard great things about the launch area/ramp. Then again, it’s only $80 to store in the lot.

Storage only…no ramp.

I have kept my boat there for every year for about 4 or 5 years now for 6 months out of the year. No ramp but I can say that the folks that run it are first rate and all about service. They have an ice club (a very reasonable one time fee) that allows you to buy bagged ice from a cooler there at the yard, They have a washdown area, surveillance cameras and just completely redid the whole yard. I can tell you this, Tracy treats you right. I left late one night after shrimping and realized halfway back to Cola that I had taken my GPS/Sounder off but left it sitting on my bow. I called Tracy and she went down there, picked it up and kept it until the next time I came down.
