The CLA Fishing for the Cure Open Tournament will be held on June 4th with the Captain’s Meeting being held on June 1st. The Captain’s Meeting and weigh-in will be held at the Charleston Maritime Center.
The Captain’s Meeting will begin at 6pm with registration ($35 for adults, youth 12 and under $10) - includes food, beverages, live music by Hanahan Combat and raffles.
The weigh-in will take place from 4-6pm on June 4th. Fishing can begin at 12:01am. Eligible species include: Flounder, Sheepshead, Ladyfish, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel. We will NOT be fishing for Trout this year, due to DNR’s suggested catch and release. We will give a mystery prize for the spottail with the most spots. Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place, cast net for 3rd place.
All money raised will be donated to AfterCare Essentials in West Ashley for breast cancer care. Please come join us and help us raise money for this very worthwhile cause!
