My wife and I welcomed our first child to the family this summer and I quickly realized that I no longer have time for two boats. I have reluctantly decided to try selling my 1998 Carolina Skiff J14 w/ a 2013 Yamaha F25 (less than 100 hours). The trailer is a 2015 aluminum Continental that’s in great shape. Included is a Minn Kota Powerdrive/Co-Pilot (55lb thrust), Garmin 441s color chartplotter/fishfinder, deep cycle battery & LED gigging lights that line the entire starboard side of the boat. This skiff may not be as cosmetically appealing as other “micro skiffs” but I can promise that it is totally functional for fishing the flooded flats, running the creeks, and gigging shell banks. Engine runs great and will push the boat pretty effortlessly to 23-25mph with two adults & gear. Not in a huge hurry to sell and told myself if I can’t get $4000 for it then I’ll just hold on to it and use it as often as family life will allow.
