I’m thinking about buying a used one with a 25 hp tiller motor. I know there are nicer boats, but I’m thinking that I could get pretty much anywhere I wanted in the Lowcountry inshore. I fish alone most of the time, and I don’t even want more than one additional person on board when I’m fishing (three is a crowd, especially in a small boat). Just wondering what you guys thought about this boat for fishing inshore in the creeks and flats.

I think its a good boat. You definitely have to pick you days with the wind and chop factor. i wouldn’t get the complete skiff, i think its called the dlx or jvx editions that have a lttle v for a smoother ride, all in all good boat. I jus tlook at it like this you can take a shallow boat deep but not a deep boat shallow
A small fish in hand is better than big fish in promise
Ha Yakman, is killing the forums haha, looks like he did a little bit of reading atleast to have this much knowledge on the boats, cut him some slack …
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Looked at 2 this weekend, but had to pass on each of them. One had an inadequate trailer, and the other trailer needed a lot of work. I’ll be pulling a boat from Atlanta to HHI, so the trailer needs to be in good shape.
