Looking to up size some so going to sell my skiff. Freshly rebuilt 2005 2 stroke 50hp with stainless prop and hydraulic steering. 2001 hull. Large front deck and bench seat in the back. Garmin 120 fish/depth finder with temp. Galvenized trailer with LED lights. Will consider trades for larger center console. This thing burns NO fuel and is a great shallow water boat. Asking 5000.00 Pics available on request. I have no problem with a mechanic checking it or river test.

500 plus views. Feed back? Been a lot of tire kickers but no takers. Am I too high?
Price seems a little high for a 16 flat. I know how it is trying to sell your baby tho. It’s always worth more to us than it is to others. Good luck!
Thanks dub. There is of course some “negotiation” room in my price. I can say that EVERYTHING works on this boat. All electrical connections are silver soldered and shrink wrapped. Hull is dry. New tires and springs on trailer with stainless u bolts/ hardware. The hull is waxed and shiny. I even wax the bottom… I am in no hurry to sell it. I do love the boat.
If I could get my financial advisor(wife) to let me take out a loan, I’d be all over your boat. $5000 does seem a bit high, but the way you said you’ve taken care of it, the price isn’t outrageous.
Any thoughts on an easy payment plan??
I’ll keep working on the ol’ lady.

redneckn,
I may be interested in your boat. I was looking to pick up a jon boat and hoping to spend quite a bit less than $5K. That said, your boat looks very nice and if we can get together on the price, I very well may be interested. A couple of questions:
Do you have titles for the boat, motor and trailer?
What is the total lenth from the tounge to the back of the motor (I need it to fit in my garage)?
Are there any issue with the boat than should be addressed?
Where are you located (roughly)?
Is there anything else I should know about your boat?
Unlike Happy Bob, my financial advisor (aka wife) has approved the purchase of a boat:) Hopefully we can make something work.
Thanks!
Mbaio,
I have titles for the boat and motor. Trailers are not titled in SC.
Total length is 19’8" from ball to motor
I used the boat today. Only issue was short trout reds and flounder:smiley:
I am in Beaufort. 1/2 a mile from the boat landing. No problem with a river test.
The trailer is in good shape. Tires have good tread and no rot.Leaf springs are New last week. All lights work. Bow light is new. Anchor light base is new. Trailer lights are led and mounted on ez loaders out of the water. Battery is 6 months old.
All sounds good. I would like to come see the boat bit am traveling this week returning Friday. I may be able to head your way on Friday early evening or Saturday. Do you have a preference? I live in Charleston so this will be a bit of a hike for me.
Thanks,
Matt
Sent you a pm with my #. Gimme a call when you can and we will work out the details.
`You are not to high…Wait about 4 more weeks and it will sell as soon as shrimp season opens. I own 2 Carolina skiffs, a 14’ for gigging and sheephead fishing. The 21’ is for commercial oystering. I wish I had gotten the J16 when I got my J14
