started off friday with a turkey…
then went home to get ready to bottom fish sat.
weather man had it right. west wind at our back the frist 20mi. out at 40mph then had to back down to 25 the last 20. weather got better and better as the day went. first stop in 140’ we got into the reds catching 20 or so, kept two legals, three groupers, kept two 2, 2 limits of 16/20" bsb’s, 2 limits of keeper bee liners, a limit of pinks, some squirrel fish & the biggest grey trigger Iv’e caught! We went north of the new MPA in 180 & the aj’s hammered us. caught one more grouper & some trash, headed in at 25 for 2 1/2hrs as a stiff wind picked up out of the SW. great day on the water with capt jimmy aboard omega 3,with auggie dog and pro Capt. Butch Reeves! If you can beat living in SC, I ain’t seen it!
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
