Those rails are…!!! I don’t know what to say!
More impressive is you two guys on that fairing board. That’s dedication to a build. The hard works is paying off.

Well it’s been a bust past week. We took the 17’ to Ft. Lauderdale for the show setup and glassed and fared the spray and rub rails on the 21’. Primed with Alexseal tonight and ready to flip tomorrow. I will post a video of the flip afterward.
Any other new projects in mind?
We are waiting to see how the Ft. Lauderdale show plays out but we would like to start on a 40’ express after the 21’ is built for Miami.
Ok she is flipped over. Now it will be a fun 90 days to get her done for the Miami show!
Love the lines on this boat! Can’t wait to see it finished and the forty footer too!
Thanks Ricky!
Today we removed the jig and cleaned up all the excess glue from the interior. We will start glassing the inside over the next few days and then leave again for the Ft.Lauderdale show Wednesday. Wish us Luck!
I have read the entire write-up about the flats boat and have been reading your upgrade (in size) postings. I assume you are busy trying to get ready for a boat show, but where are the postings and pics? I have also seen your work on other websites. Do not cave in to the ignorance of those that are jealous. I personally, and literally, grew up on a lumber yard and know what skill it takes to manipulate materials. You are doing a great job. Keep it up and keep posting your progress for those of us who can admire great work, for what it is.
Thanks Spot tale,
We had a great show and are now back at work on the inside of the 21’. Here are a few progress pics.
Today we fabricated the forward deck supports, ran all electrical chase tubes, glued in floor supports, and did some faring work on the bilge area and forward fish box. Tomorrow we will glass the floor supports and pour the flotation foam.
nice please keep posting!

Flotation foam is in. Now a couple more stages of faring in the bilge and fish box and the sole will be ready to go in!
You guys must have recently stayed at a Holiday Inn Express… Just kidding. beautiful work. It is good to see quality craftsmanship in the upcoming generations. I may need to get you guys to design and build me a console for my CC. I don’t like the configuration of mine.
Thanks pluffdaddy. Just let me know. Today we glassed the floor. Tomorrow we will start on the interior.
Well we finished about 90% of the interior this weekend. We still have to finish the scuppers and build our storage/step in front of the console against the front bulkhead.
nice work guys! please keep the pics coming. You all might be in a good position to have a 2nd business in custom consoles…
Here is a little more progress on the interior.
(**() good work, guys – hopefully this boat will also make it down to Red’s (or at least the Chas area) too so some of us can check it out.
In the CAD screenshot you show of the console it looks like the top will pop up. Are you planning on cutting the console and adding flanges once you glass it, or is that idea out of the window?
Bryson,
You are correct. The top pops up on an actuator and we will wait to cut it once it is glassed and fared to insure we have a perfect fit. We then do some work to the inside to finish it.
