Carrot Stick

Has anyone used these carrot resign rods before? I was walking through Bass Pro and saw them. Wondering if they are worth anything before I come back to Charleston with one. Gotta feed the fishing addiction somehow!

ive seen em a few times before but i have yet to actually use one.get it and let us all know!

You know I think that is a great plan! You can never have enough fishing rods! I just found that they have a inshore/salt specific series as well. I’ll have to grab that one.

If you’re talking about the orange carrotstix, they are very nice light tackle rods. They are primarily used as freshwater largemouth bass rods, but they work great in saltwater as well. Solid construction, extremely sensitive and strong. They used to be Boyd Duckett’s signature rod when he fished for e-21, but he left the company and formed Duckett Fishing, which makes incredible rods in my opinion. They are the all white ones, you can find them in basspro, and they are much cheaper. The Duckett rods use these tiny micro-guides, I’ve got 2 in 6’6" medium light and I use them for all of my reds/trout/flounder inshore fishing, and I absolutely love em’.
