cast net repair

Who local does cast net repair? My 12’ net just broke the white plastic round piece that rides the mono line from the top of the net to the net itself. The net wont fully open all the way like it should due to the piece being broke, or does anyone know how to fix it?

super glue?

well it’s better than the other replies you’ve received thus far!

take it to haddrells mt p. they’ll either fix it or the guy upstairs [steve?] will have a plan.

TooBusy repairs them pretty cheap and he does really good work. Totally restrung a net for a buddy of mine and he was quick too…

That part is called the “horn”. In olden days when nets were hand tied, that part was often made from a section of cow or sheep horn.
