Been a while since I’ve tried to run down my own live bait. Any advice on where to look for live shrimp on the Ashley or Cooper? I was planning on just pulling up to the grass lines and casting away but any advice would be welcome. Thank you!

Go up a creek at low tide and you’ll see some shrimp jumping,might get some mud minnows and mullet also.

You can also go into the ICW behind Sullivan’s island. Look for the schools of mullet. Also you can go out just off the beach on the morning and look for the birds diving on bait.
Thanks for the post. That’s how I used to do it in the Wando. Just following birds around waiting for them to dive so I could get menhaden or mullet. Was hoping to load up with live shrimp because i haven’t had any luck with DOA shrimp or cut mullet so far
