anyone know someone local for casting platforms and what do they run trying to decide if i want to order off the web.

fish fred @ tailwalker marine in g’town knows more about bay and flats style boats than just about anyone in the state. give him a call or send him an email

Patrick … if you are referring to a bow mount platform, I got mine from Blue Point (http://www.bluepointfabrication.com/). Very nicely made. Hardware is first class. I only wish it was a little larger.

Mark Googer built a new poling platform frame for me recently. His work is very nice too. I bet if you took him a picture of what you want, he could put it something something together pretty quick.

I got mine from fishmaster off ebay for 250.00. It is the same one that is on Brian’s boat and I love it.
