anybody have any good ideas on making a casting platform to use for shrimping.need to get busy on making me one soon.that time is fastly approaching.making it on a 73 ebbtide fish and ski boat.
I am adding a deck to my little skiff. I used 5/8" plywood, sealed with epoxy and then glassed in with 10 oz. biaxel fiberglass mat. Built supports on the bottom, all the way to the deck, and added a watertight hatch. Holds my 215 lbs. really well. You might try something like that. Unless you don’t want a permanent deck.

thats nice but the way my boat is made that kind of platform wouldnt work.its a fish and ski boat.2 seats in the front and open in the back.
