Anyone ever try shrimping over there on the Fort Johnson side of the Castle with any sucess
There ain’t no But in Black and White
Used to shrimp the aquarium side of Castle Pinkney several years ago. A buddy of mine would never shrimp there until the last few weeks of the season. Gotta watch out for the oysters though. If you get too shallow, the oyster beds will grab your net in a hurry. It’s best to go at low tide and poke around with your poles to make sure your in sand or mud and not oysters. If it isn’t hsppening at Crab Bank it’s not going to be very good at Castle Pickney. It’s just good enough to tease you, but not enough to burn up bait balls. I think it’s time to sit in a tree stand Ruts on.
