That’s pretty funny! I have been saying the same thing and have considered asking if I could just buy 2 mud minnows, one for me and one for the wife!!
It’s going to get better, water is warming up and bait is returning. The reliable trout will be turning on soon.

That is too funny, but was the reality yesterday. We went way south on Saturday after leaving the Dahwoo boat landing. NOT one bite and we had a gazillion MM’s on board. We fished about ten different spots and used the mudders, artificials, cut mullet, frozen shrimp, fished floats, fished on the bottom, free-lined,… It was beautiful day on the water and the ride was like gliding over a mirror coming and going. Very few people out and I guess that should have been a clue. All MM’s released to swim again. I catch them in my backyard so it is easy to fill up again. But, as my friend says, "you can’t catch them on the couch!"

We went out of dawhoo also yesterday. The water was beautiful, but the fish weren’t eating and the sand gnats were terrible!! Wound up going to the North Edisto nearshore reef on the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen out there. Caught 2 nice keeper black drum and 2 legal bsb’s. We had a blast catching fish even if we had to pick through all the little ones.

We are coming back with more MM than we leave with! They must be multiplying!
