went to try and catch some bait to freeze this week off of a dock. caught about 40 lbs of horse mullet for cut bait in one throw. caught about a gallon of finger mullet in 50 throws. also caught about 9 sheepshead and one redfish in the cast net while blind casting for bait. Sheepshead were 7-13 inches, most around 12. redfish was 14 inches and all were thrown back except for the mullet. busted my net up on some snags and called it a day. I’ve never caught so many non-bait fish in a net before, was definitely strange.
