I think I’ll make a chowda .Got this one on a piece of shad while searching for spotail at Bushy.My pal superfly got a couple yesterday while I got skunked,he showed this old man how it’s done.Hopefully they will get thicker in the coming weeks.

Ever tried chunks of chicken soaked for a few days in haden oil or wd 40 ??? Surprised that one dosen’t go more than that, pics are deceiving though

Thanks for the wd40 tip , I will give it a try. Yep my pap would have had a heart attack if he knew I threw away the head haha. I figured someone would like the chowda comment,had a buddy from Maine that called it that.He was a good ole boy.
Yea , I’ve heard a lot of the New England brough . Served with a bunch of guys from Maine and New Hamp., Vermont… Had a chief from N.Hamp that used to talk about going to pottys quite a lot. Took this ole southern red-neck a while to finally get what he was talking about ! Pottys was parties… Told him where I come from ,a potty was a bucket beside the bed in case of the need to visit the outhouse in the winter— then I had to describe to him what a outhouse was !![:0] Geez, and to think the south won the war.
