Going catfishing tomorrow and I am new to the Lake. Any info on bait, rigs, areas, and depth would be helpful.
I’d suggest targeting 15-20 foot depths, drifting .5 - .8 mph with Santee cooper rigs on bottom. Cut herring. Should have some steady action that way - report back and let me know.
Found the bite between 20-30 ft. Caught 16 drifting. Nothing big. Thank you.
That sounds just about right Nick - decent numbers but not much size recently…
