Catfishing during warm winter

Anyone have any ideas on best depth / location to target the catfish given the crazy hot winter weather?

Shallow early and late in the day.

Caught 7 in 40-50 feet water on cut bait - largest was 15 pounds. Trying to add picture but can’t figure out how to do so o this forum.

Mullet seems to be working best for me…fish in 50 feet, morning till noon. Tried shallower but no luck, don’t even see much on screen below 4o ft
