Going to be in Santee for a couple of days soon and wouldn’t mind catching some cats. Haven’t done this since I was a kid. Any suggestions? What kind of spots to look for, what bait to use, hook size? Any suggestions appreciated!!!

I’d suggest drifting ridges around 10’ depth with drop offs nearby. Carolina Rig, size 6 hooks, cut herring if you can find them or shiners, mullet may work too. .6 - .8 MPH drift Or anchor on a drop off - canal is good sometimes this time of year… Good luck
