Well when you have the day off paid for jury duty that got cancelled, what do you do? You dress for the freezing wind and temps and go fishing! Caught probably 30+ fish completing a slam on arties! My boy even caught a nice striper to boot! They ate everything we threw, grubs, curly tails, tt’s and shrimp! Water was in the mid 50’s all day. Enough of all that tho what made this track in the mud??!!?
here are the few we kept for dinner
did I mention it was freezing!
oh yea this was the striper…23 inches, released

I’m gonna lean more towards the otter because I saw a pair of them maybe a mile away from this spot a week ago…doubt it was a gator becasue it was about 33 tues morning and was too windy for Squatch to be in the mud

Your kid was on jury duty with you.?!?!?!
OK, I have a problem with sleeping lately and these threads catch my eye.
Gator. Otters don’t have tails that long (in relation to their bodies) and their tails aren’t that sharp edged.
Number sent Jamie! iFly, get some rest buddy! lol. birdman if you’re talking about the dip on the right that’s def a water run down. But I reckon it could be a gator even in this cold, looking over the pics a little more notice on the left of the ‘tail swipe’ marks it looks a little like corresponding footprints…or maybe mikeys right and it’s a bear!
