Three of us fished near Bulls Bay with a rising tide this morning. We did best early using all artificials: DOA shrimp gold flake under a popping cork, and Zman grubs with trout eye jigs. Caught about 35, but mostly small. Kept five - all well over 14 1/2 by my metal measurer.
The trout bite is strong in Bulls Bay! I had the same experience, most of them are small trout. Lots of fun though!
Very nice. Hopefully some cooling temps will bring on the bite even more.
