In the creek today at 5:00am for some Topwater action! Just off the dock in Hawcaw creek i find a 23 regulator T Boned to LilBit. Then i find 13 other boats drifting in the creek. All the boats on the ION dock were cut lose! Towed 2 back to the dock and put out the anchor on the others! I did have some help from another boat on the last 3. Thanks guys! Caught and released 4 reds on Top after the boat drama.

Oh how I would love to catch the little ****s that did that. I’d cut them lose about 5 miles out. Good on you for being there and doing the right thing. I could see some folks pass right by figuring it was not their problem. AND, you still caught a few fish!

Talked to a guy this morning about the boat issue. Hey said it was only 1 schitt for brains that did the dirty deed. The perp has been identified and turned in. Just so happens he was at a party at the home of the guy that owns the big boat that got to stay moored.

Heck, a good strong wind blowing out the creek with outgoing tide could have put them in the wando. Worse yet would be some yahoo flying up that creek in the dark. I showed the pics to the guy at work and he was shocked at how many there was.

An additional note - also set adrift was one god cart belonging to Tommy Connelly. This - in my mind- moves this from a prank to crime. $4200 golf carts do not float and cannot be salvaged. The person responsible needs to pay. Just my thoughts.
