Well it was another beautiful night on the water w/ good friends. Calm winds and comfortable temp, beer was cold. Was hoping my last night on the Harbor this season would be a productive one as far as the shrimping goes. Started at about 6 PM, 1 hour before low, maybe too shallow, 2.5 feet +/-, North side of CB, Caught on average 2 shrimp per cast, but they were all larges. Water was flowing in good by 8, still muddy, thought they would turn on, but never did. Pulled poles at 9 PM. Less than 1/4 cooler. Friends on the N side of CB did little over 1/4 cooler.
There were several boats at Patriots Point still when we came in, maybe there were doing better that we did…
Headed to Bulls Bay for my 1st and last time this season on Monday, Hope to at least put a few more pounds in the freezer
