Well, it was the heaviest rain we have ever shrimped in, and I had been more worried about the wind forecast. Poles set just before the heavy rain started, almost called it and went in, but did a run at about 7:40 PM and filled the bottom of the basket. Rain slowed down about 8:40, shrimp stayed pretty consistant, very close to full cooler at about 9:15, shrimp still on the poles when we left. Mixed size, 1/2 larges, a few jumbos, rest mix of mediums and smalls.
Good job!
Impressive. That weather separates contenders from pretenders! My ols coach would say. How deep were you?
We started in 3.5- 4 feet ended up almost 6. We used the Black Pearl last few runs and although it really wears you out, catches more shrimp when water gets deeper.

Great job, Doc!
Seems like that 4’ to 6’ depth with moving water is key. Good on you for toughing out the weather.
