Yeah, I think that sums it up. I'm not buying the "pumping the bulb hatch left open". Did they pump the bulb for the whole 30 mile trip out?

The guy’s opening line says it all and he is way too excited about getting a check from the insurance company.

Man, I don’t want to make stressrelief a star again, but the “public reaction” was a lot different. stressrelief was pretty traumatized by his sinking, and this guy with the Century seems happy.

There was absolutely no panic or sign of hurry. You can bet your ass that if my boat was sinking that there would be a “sense of urgency” on board. There would be some yelling and everyone would be doing something to help remedy the issue.

That is, of course, unless I wanted to get a new boat… If that was the case, I would have just grabbed all of my SCUBA gear and favorite cooler… Oh wait…

Also “We had two epirbs, two portable vhs radios and a hand held gps. with us in the water.”

Hmmm… Is that what they normally carry, or was it a “special day” where they wanted to be well prepared?

Hmmmm…

I know one thing if my boat was going down and one of my buddies was filming the entire time instead of bailing water out… he and the video camera would have been the first overboard!!!

Why is this not “Insurance Fraud”? Seems like typing what he did in that post would pretty much seal the deal to an adjuster.

Where is Gotcha on this?

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

That video terrifies me.

…because everything is a conspiracy!!!

I know people who carry several e-pirbs and multiple spots even though the spots are mostly for corn holing

I think I’d be having a fire drill to tie everything that floats together so I’d have a lot of stuff to hang onto, especially after it was evident the boat was going to sink.

I realize there’s often not enough time, but I’d have bumpers, throw cushions, coolers and anything I could find that would float gathered and ready. Seems a large mass of stuff would be easier to see and provide some sense of security.
