I need some cedar for garden boxes for our new house. Don’t seem to be able to find any at big box home improvement - anyone know where I can get 1x6 6-8 ft unfinished cedar pickets or boards cheap?

When I have been in the market for eastern red cedar, craigs list has been a good source for me. Just make sure you expand your search to the upper parts of the state.

Did try Buck Supply down on Maybank?
There are some specialty mills around. My brother built a whole closet out of cedar to put his hunting clothes in. He got all his lumber from a mill in near Camden, not sure of the name, though. He said they had plenty and would cut to order.
