Pro tip…

Not all Lowes have these but most do. …

Instead of paying the ridiculous price of those “cooking planks”, you can buy a whole bundle of cedar shake shingles from lowes which will last you a lifetime for less than $30.

Also, make sure you soak them in water and you’ll get multiple uses out of them.

Try adding a little apple juice to your soak (2:1 water to apple juice) if you like a hint of sweet smoke with your fish.

To add a pro tip to a pro tip, go to your local lumber yard instead of Lowes and get them for half the price
