center console to side console

I have a 16ft CC that I want to convert to a side console to expand the open deck area. Any suggestions on side console sources. I could build one out of wood to match the shape of the inside of the boat gunnel and have it finished ?? I want fiberglass not a wood look. Thanks for any comments. BKW

I would think you would be better off tradeing for another boat! Unless you can find what you like in a marine junk yard and adapt it to your boat. The wood would be allfull heavy.
