I volunteer my office (ask capnsandbar, it’s set up perfectly for an art show). Participating artists will be responsible for making their own prints (and or frames) and we can all kick in a few dollars to get a keg of something nice and some cheese balls for an opening party and then keep the show up for a month or so to let family and friends drop by and check it out

OK, let’s plan this for September some time. It will need to be during the week, maybe on a Friday.
We have a large format printer here at the office, we can find out how many people want to be involved and figure out how much ink and paper we would need and print the big stuff here. If we’re going to sell and donate I bet that we can line up a few sponsors to buy paper and ink.
If anyone is interested in helping me plan this shoot me an email. luke@byersdesign.com
Everyone is welcome.
We can vote on where any proceeds will go, I don’t have any preferences but would like to see any money taken in go to some groups that are preserving the resource or the area. Save The Light would be cool, Waterkeepers may be good too, any other suggestions are welcome.

Save The Light will exhaust nearly all of our preservation funds with the current Phase II work going on right now…with Federal and State purse-strings as tight as they are right now we could certainly use other sources of revenue…
count me in…I have a sneaking suspicion we could find a couple of corporate sponsors as well…
I volunteer to do whatever is necessary to pull this off, and yes, a Friday evening sounds great…great idea guys!
animal cruelty sucks…unless his lip hurts cause there is a 1/0 Owner Aki hook with a chinaback stuck in it
Is this Just open to CF members? I might know someone who would be interested in something like this.
Somebody told us Wall Street fell but we were so poor we couldn’t tell. Cotton was short and the weeds were tall but Mr. Obama gonna save us all

Certainly not. Flatscaster’s place is large and the more photographers we have, the better. At least that’s my opinion. Just know that this is for charity and no one will be getting paid. This is not a competition (other than a friendly one) at this point; its strictly a way to have some fun and raise a little money for some worthwhile local charities.
On a side note, talking with Flats the last couple of days about organizing this thing, it really sounds like its going to be very nice and classy, something a lot of us aren’t used to, but should be a great time nonetheless!
23, you going to have prints of the “Super Secret Turtle Bait”? Haha, I know a lot of young photographers that would definitely be interested. Keep us updated
