CF.com dinner May, 2014

how about happy hour/dinner one night at the Low Down Over and Bar on Folly Road, James Island? Penny, what’s your schedule like?
info and happy hour specials:

another consideration might be happy hour at Snapper Jack’s on Folly Beach…they do half off dozens of raw, Gulf Coast oysters…we might eat them out of house and home…

I’m in for whatever. But my vote is for Penny’s house and home cooking!!

I wouldn’t mind trying out the Low down. I keep saying I’m going to try it.

I will meet up with yall wherever you decide.

I’d risk the drive over there just to meet the colorful, insightful and truly interesting folks who post on this site. It would enrich my lifelong love affair with this wonderful Lowcountry, and the people who make it so incredibly special. It might cost me a cab ride to get home if I can’t get the Mrs. schedule to cooperate, but I’m thinkin’ it would be worth it. Set a date and time and let’s see what transpires.

Wow! I think bossdog is trying to take Bonzo’s, Sarcasm In Chief, position. Nice try bossdog! If you can come up with a Sarcasm avatar you might have a shot:wink::imp::smiley:

Marshgrass and I went there yesterday for lunch…was half price burger day…her burger with fries was a whopping 4.00 and a little change total. I had the roast beef on rosemary bread with a horsey sauce and cheese and a small salad and took donnie home a turkey sandwich and homemade chips. Enjoyed the food and the company :)Good seeing you Marsha…hope you catch’em up today! Went last week with some more wonderful folks…MISSLILLY and his wife and it was good then too. I had the tomatoe pie and a salad that day. They have a "heartattack on a bun " called the “three pigs” (bacon, pulled pork and a hamburger patty) that looked awesome…but one i would never attempt  very friendly service too.

Dear Easy…No sarcasm at all. I consider it a weak attempt at humor, and generally rude. No offense Bonzo, but I’ve not been aware of any on your part that Mr. Easy ascribes to you. As I’ve posted before I know Bonzo’s dad as a true southern gentleman and expect he raised his son accordingly, and appreciate his attempt at being neighborly with the offer. Of course I don’t shy away from confrontation and hostility if it presents itself, and those attitudes are alive and well on these forum’s and most others.

bossdog, it was a weak attempt at humor as you said. I was more poking at Bonz and not you! I stand chastised! I’m glad you did pick up on the smiley face!

Dear Easy…We’re cool. I’m weak on the emotocons, and avitars and such. Used up most of my brain cells just learning to type with 4 fingers.

Iffn you can make it a Friday or Saturday night, I’d like to bring Mo down for another meal with you fine folks! Just let us know when!!!

Anyone made plans yet, someone just say a date and time and we’ll see who shows.

How about Friday 23rd? 24th is the fishing tourney and full bloom Memorial day weekend. Maybe the 30th or 31 would be more convenient…

Keep me posted B onzo. You know where I am 4 days a week
