I know this is supposed to be posted in the Tournaments & Community Events section and it is. I just wanted everyone know that this Tournament is open to Kayakers</font id=“blue”>, not just power boats. Here are the specifics:
Please come join us for the next CFA tournament here in Charleston. This event is free of charge. The captain’s meeting will be held Friday night, May 14th and is mandatory for participation. All tournament rules will be explained at the captain’s meeting. A free dinner will be provided. Door prizes will also be given away at the captain’s meeting. Cash prizes will be awarded for the heaviest individual fish and combined inshore slam. Yes, one team can win all categories!
Heaviest Redfish: $166.00
Heaviest Trout: $166.00
Heaviest Flounder: $166.00
Heaviest Slam (combined weight): $502.00

The tournament will launch from Wappoo Cut Landing on May 15th at 6:30am, or safe light. Weigh in will be at Wappoo Cut Landing between 2-3pm. You must launch from the Wappoo Cut Landing and return to Wappoo Cut Landing.
The captain’s meeting will be held at Charleston Baptist Church (www.charlestonbaptist.org), 13 San Miguel Dr, Charleston, SC 29407 (off Savage Road in West Ashley) at 6:30pm.
