had a couple last minute 6:32 AM cancellations
, so changed plans and stayed closer in. a few skips and bumps heading out at around 30 mph, but 37 mph coming in. (saw 40.1 on the gps at wide open)
First at the ramp, and first at the spot, but the black sea bass size was pretty disappointing, but still managed a limit. Managed a couple other porgies and whatnot. Trolled around a little bit for kicks, but didn’t have any bites. Tried a new spot, which had some action, but not great, on the way in. On dry land at 1:20. Hope others did better.
Glad the cancellations didn’t keep you off the water!
God Bless,
Capt Buddy Bizzell
Being on the water is a blessing, catching fish is a bonus!
Matthew 4:19
No idea on water temp. According to my depth finder, it’s 99.9F. According to my hand, it’s COLD! I’d guess 55-57 though. Maybe one of the other half dozen boats there could enlighten us
Was out there also. Temp was right at 55. Could not find any big bsb. Kept about 10 fish. Gorgeous day.
we saw 67* in 150’ of water…glad you got out…
