Just a friendly FYI… they have officially opened the Leads Ave. launch, but with a new traffic pattern. Instead of taking a right when you hit the parking lot and lining up down the far side of the lot (closet to Duncan Boats). They have you now coming straight down the lot at the ramp and then having to whip a 180 turn in order for to launch your boat. Today this caused for mass confusion. Veteran boats were following the old way and other folks were following the arrows. Needless to say a few people were a bit worked up. Additionally, this caused a bit of an issue when everyone was trying to trailer. You had a few people trying to flip U-turns and not making it. It’s safe to say that weekend 1 of the “new” landing was a bit of a hot mess!!!
Thank you for posting this. Sounds like the new way of entering the ramp is going to be tough on bigger boats.
