Oil for the high pressure fuel pump that’s driven by the belt???
Heard of this needing to be done at 1000hrs. Anybody ever done it or have any info? The pump is super expensive, so i thought I’d look into doing this regardless of the fact that I’m not quite to 1000hrs yet.
Well I see on another forum where some folks are saying it is a pretty simple procedure and that it takes regular 90 weight oil like the lower unit. I will do it and post some pics. 1000hrs is way too long for any oil in an outboard IMO…
