Charleston Angler MILITARY FREINDLY!!!!!!

No i’m not getting paid, and or a discount (except a sweet 10% for military), I just wanted to give these guys a plug. The store on 17A aka N. Main St. in Summerville, great staff, very knowledgable, and willing to help. I spent over an hour in that store talking with the clerk last Sunday he shared lots of tips, and hot spots </font id=“red”> on the Wando with me. They are also having a trout seminar on 26 Oct 2010. I will be there, and hope to see some of you guys there also, put a face to the name type stuff. Anyway I have been into Haddrells, Folley, and another store on Dorchester in N. Charleston, everyone has been super nice, but the Charleston Angler IMO has been exceptional and didn’t seem to be as concerned with making a buck. They also give a 10% military discount. Anyone in Summerville, Moncks Corners, and Ladson area if you haven’t already go see these guys, if they don’t have it they can get from other locations, and most likely order it too. The golden retriever that sometimes hangs out there loves people bring him a snack when you go…

I am Retired AF and Trey is a former Marine so we do give our Military Brothers and Sisters a few more places to fish than others  but all of our knowledge of fishing and the local waters is available to anyone! We also do a lot of 1-on-1 instruction and as you mentioned the seminars. later this month we will also be starting the Kayak Fishing Club and getting that up and running. Thanks for coming in and we are looking forward to seein you again!!!

I’m sorry if I originally made it sound like they give secrets to just military, I would rather say they spent a little extra time with me maybe because I’m military, or maybe because I wouldn’t stop asking questions and there were no other customers at the time, anyway anyone and everyone should give these guys a moment of their time. Military members can enjoy a 10% discount, in my book that goes a long way!

Not neccessarily wanting info on fishing spots. I do agree with you that any help to military goes a long way. Also told other fellow service members who fish about their discount.

I want to toss in my .02. I happened to stop into C.A.'s Saint Andrews Blvd location this past Saturday. I was extremely impressed. Very friendly and helpful. a lot of times you go in these shops and they won’t give you the time of day unless your a “regular”. But, the staff at this store was great! They’re definitely getting more of my business!

outstanding!! that was the point of this post, it’s getting harder and harder to find good military discounts, and as far tips and tricks go sometimes this site can be a little cryptic.

We help ANYONE who wants to know about fishin  When I said that I was aiming that I am retired AF and my Brothers in Blue (AF and Navy), Green and Red are always top of my list to help out, but everyone gets the same help . Now remember, fall fishing here is INSANE so don’t go putting that fishin gear way for the winter…
