Anyone ever use them for outboard service? I’ve got what I think is a fuel delivery problem and I can’t get it solved. I know this isn’t the bulk of their business so that’s why I’m asking.
I’m a huge fan of ChrisV and have used him before but right now I don’t have time to pull the boat out of the water and take it up to him. Charleston City Boatyard is about a mile down river from me and I can be to them and back to my house in 15 mins.
Any experiences you can share would be appreciated.
I know your response was intended as tongue-and-cheek but to clarify…
I’m definitely not trying to get on the wrong side of Andy and start a bash-fest. Just looking for someone to say they’ve used them and had a good experience, here’s how it works, and cost is more/less/comparable to everyone else.
No responses and I’ll just assume that everyone is hauling their outboards to ChrisV/Seels/Hanckels/Longshore/etc.
Thanks Trout. I’ve heard good things about them as well. Problem is it requires taking the boat out of the water. Trying to avoid that due to a lack of time.
i’ve used them to do out of the water boatwork on the brainstorm and they seem upfront and honest. as far as boatyards, they seem to have as good of a rep as any.
