Arrived at dead low tide to claim real estate (6:30). Baited the poles just when the water started moving and ran two passes after a 20 minute soak. Nothing. Not one shrimp. Waited a few minutes longer and then flipper and one of his pals aggressively ran our poles. Tried to scare them off with the motor, but they don’t care. Ha! Next pass was a success! Every second pole was a producer and they switched up every other pass. What was a bad pole became a quite fruitful pole. Hard work and 3 hours later we had really close to a full cooler. Not a lot of boats are producing what we have in this location so, I consider it a success!
That’s why they call it fishing, not catching…
