Got to my spot near JIYC around 6pm, outgoing tide, a little windy at first, then calmed down later. Set Poles, ate my dinner, drank a legal beverage, watched the sun set, nice night to be on the water. Threw a couple of nets (unbaited) to see if anything was around. Caught one shrimp. Baited my Fishing Rod, caught a trash fish, used him for bait. Baited the poles and waited, and waited, and waited. A few stragglers came to the party but no big numbers like I’d hoped for. No wind, no ripping current, no cooler full. Going back to the dock, the water was like glass, it was great. Hope others had better luck than me.
CB was holding some decent shrimp last night. got 3/4 of a cooler before they shut down.
