Went last night and for the first time in 8 years of shrimping I caught ZERO shrimp in 2.5 hours. Talked to the guys next to us and they only caught 2 shrimp in 30 throws. It was miserable!!!

Sorry to hear that. I was out there lined the bottom of the cooler mixed catch. I am going again Saturday. Started late ended early had fun. Used bait binder for the first time. Nice stuff. Had a cup full dry in bag and cats ate it today as I was at work when

FB Peanut guy: Were the cats bound up with the bait binder? My cats and lab dog prefer the $50 a bag fish meal. Went out in the garage this morning and it looked like a fish meal bomb went off. Lots of guilty looks, no one fessed up. Sounds like we’re in for another on and off year of shrimping. We’ll give it a try this weekend in the harbor just to get out and drink cervezas on the water.
