We actually had a pretty good night last night on CB. Out w/ group from Fishing Club. We ended up w/ about 2/3 cooler of large/medium mix. As has been the case for the other 4 times I have been out this year, they “turned on” about 7:45 and the 1st few runs were the best of the night. They were never heavy on the poles, but covered the bottom of the basket on several runs. About 9PM when current picked up and you would expect the shrimp to really turn on, it was diminishing returns, just a few/cast (even w/ catching the bait ball). We pulled poles at 9:30. The wind laid down from the 10-15 kts of the day and was a beautiful calm evening. Hopefully will be up in BB on Monday. Any BB reports?

Went out last Friday and Saturday on the JIYC side, did fairly well. For me, it was one of the best nights I’ve had since I got back into shrimping 5 years ago. Then again, a good night for me, probably isn’t good for anyone else. I just go off a dock, but I got 2 gallon size freezer bags full of mediums with a few larges. Probably go back again tonight.
