For a change of pace, I got to go out with Adam and his father, who I met at the boat show a few years ago. It was a treat to be able to get out in there still new boat and target some inshore redfish. We started out on a lower tide tossing mullet on carolina rigs with little result. As the tide turned and started coming in, we cast out Zman Paddlerz in white on Eye Strike weedless jig heads. Working them on a windblown bank on the flat with oysters and grass. The reds were happy to participate and gave us some good action for a while. Can’t beat a good inshore bite on artificials! Tight lines!
Thanks for the report cappy as well as some information on what they are hitting on.
A calm sea never made a skilled sailor
Great report,I’m new to this area and have no idea where to go.
Hope you didn’t let Adam Drive
No, I operated the boat the entire time, ha. Don’t short him though. The ole boy knows his stuff with the Blue Wave boat, Lowrance electronics and the electronic charts. Has the boat set up well. I look forward to many more trips with them.
