Headind down towards charleston friday afternoon after work and didnt get 15 min away from home and badluck struck.Caught a flat tire in fountain inn.Ok we fixed that.got back on the road heading towards charleston again and finally got there a hr before the lowest part of the tide.So i went to my spot on land where i be shrimping at during the season and started casting for bait.A few shrimp the first throws.The next throws started producing nice sizes and qtys.
So we caught about 5 or 6 dozen or maybe a lil more. So we also started catching a few fiddlers we saw scrambling around.It was so funny seeing my girl catch them cause she never seen them before.It took a few minutes before one clinched onto that finger and i saw her running around in a circle whinning.Im sorry it was toooo funny.Anyways,we caught a few dozen and headed to the room.Got up the next morning and meet up mith Brock and Matt.We fished around a lil bit and we took off to a few spots that held sharks.end up catching a whiting or two and we moved again after they went and caught bait.Got to the next spot and finally got anchored down and a few minutes later the rod tip hit the water…Bonnethead on…Fought it for a good 10 min and my lady was going for the camera and it came up one more time and snaaaappppp!!!Pissed off…
Well my first bonnethead was a good experience and putting one of my new reals to work for the first time.So we left that spot and headed back down the river and fished one more spot.The next day we met back up with the guys and waited to see what the storms were going to do that Sunday.So we finally took off and went on a water trip and chilled for a min and me and my girl headed to another spot on folly and fished and caught a few whiting and grunts and then headed down to the lighthouse where it looked like a party.
Fished about a hour then left.Made another stop and tossed for shrimp and got a few dozens of mediums and left.To make a long story shorter headed back upstate to greenville and went thru columbia
