For those interested in kayak fishing: There will be many kayaks out there at James Island County Park to demo on the lake - a good opportunity to try out one before you buy it. I believe it costs $10 for demo wristband, plus cost of park admission.

We went out there. I picked up a cheap little kayak to be able to get out and fish still while I’m otherwise boatless. Was a pretty good day.
